- Since
the water supply has been improved, solar electricity
installed with a solar fridge and equipment
supplied by The Healthy Vine the clinic’s
functioning is much improved.
- The
newly trained community health workers were
commissioned in November. This brings the total
of trained volunteer health workers up to 100
within the 7 villages.
- The
Sekamuli Secondary School Laboratory funded
and partially built by The Healthy Vine was
formally opened by Rt. Rev.Evans M.Kisekka,
the bishop of Luweero and the Hon.Lukwago Rebecca
Nalwanga woman MP for Luweero.
- A
hydro geographical water survey has been undertaken
for 4 more villages.
Work has commenced on two more wells.
- During
the last rainy season the families that have
adapted their dwellings to the model home standard
and received nets report a substantial drop
in malaria* and other common illness.
- The
regular vaccination days are regularly well
attended.
