Landmark Primary School

The Healthy Vine has completed construction of a four-room classroom block at the Landmark Primary School located in Buwanku village in the Kiteme parish.  This adds to the latrines we previously built at this school.  A kitchen is planned to be built in the future.

Prior to our work, the school was operating in fragile wooden structures with students sitting on the open ground. This made it difficult for teaching and learning, especially when it rains. The new school is built of bricks with a proper roof, windows and doors. The classrooms have also been equipped with desks.

This project was completed with collaboration from the local community. The community contributed 20 percent of the costs through labor, materials and funds. The balance was funded by BINGO! through the Healthy Vine Germany.

The Healthy Vine plans to continue our work in the Kiteme Parrish. To learn more, please contact us through our website.
